Product Technical Specs:
Swing Speed: Ideal for golfers with swing speeds between 88 - 100 mph.
Handicap: Ideal 20 - 36: Higher handicap golfers generally need a golf ball featuring a harder cover (do not confuse/ mistake this (harder cover) with higher compression - as explained below). Hard covers result in less spin off the tee and with irons.
Feel: aka Compression - a low compression golf ball provides a softer feel
and, since it is softer, at point of impact the ball compresses (picture it as almost flattening out or changing shape for a mili-second as the club head strikes the ball). The softness causes the ball to take form of (or around) the object (club head) at impact. This compression produces a more forgiving ball, with out the need to consistently strike the ball on the "sweet spot" of club head while also creating a spring-like effect that produces more yardage. High compression (hard) golf balls require a high degree of precision as less compression takes place. Conversely, higher compression golf balls are designed for faster swing speeds/ low handicap golfers and typically have much higher spin rates, resulting in a need to strike the ball with precision or experience far less control (overall frustration!!) in all areas of the game (except, perhaps putting). To summarize, for slower swing speeds and/ or higher handicapper's; hard cover: GOOD. Low compression: GOOD. Hard cover + Low Compression = "soft feel".
